WHAT IS VIIIC 2021
The First International Business and Management Virtual Innovation & Invention of Ideas Competition (VIIIC) 2021 is organized by the Faculty of Business and Management, UiTM Puncak Alam to serve as a platform for academicians, industries, postgraduate and undergraduate students to share innovative ideas, product commercialization and design in their respective fields. This event is in line with the government’s policy to encourage research activities in Malaysia. The competition will be judged by the professional juries from academia and industry.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Novelty
The idea must be unique and original02
Applicability
The idea must be useful to solve the specific/regional/global problem.03
Intellectual Property
The idea could be protected either by copyright or non-copyright; however, idea with copyright is preferable04
Level of Impact
The idea can be benefited to the community/industry/environment05
Video Presentation
The video presentation should be clear, concise and high in quality. Maximum duration = 10 minutes.The judge’s decision is final, and no disputes or appeals will be entertained.
VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDE

There are no constraints in submitting the video (please ensure that the video is “U” rated). The structure or storyline of the video is totally depending on the creativity of the participants.

However, it is recommended that the content of the video should fulfill the judging criteria to have a chance to get higher marks. The submitted video must not exceed 10 minutes and must be uploaded as one single file of the highest quality.

Payment Instructions
- Payment can be made via online payment and to upload the proof of payment in the online google form.
- Please indicate the payment details as: VIIIC2021.
- Payment can be made in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) for Local Participants and US Dollar (USD) for International Participants.
- NO refund will be made if cancellation is made 60 days before the deadline.

This is for winner of the best category only. 1 medal will be given (extra medal upon request and extra charge).02
Certificate
Qualified participants will be receiving gold, silver and bronze certificates according to their scores. Certificate of participation will be given to all (including participants who does not receive gold/silver/bronze certificates.03
Results
