We at the Institute of Management and Halal Science strive to facilitate all business matters related to HALAL. Staff at the Institute are involved in a range of consultancy, research and training activities for a wide variety of public and private sector bodies.
Our research activity can be categorised into:

    1. Research & Consultancy projects: These represent one of the main research activities undertaken by Institute staff. Research projects are conducted on behalf of local and national governments, public sector bodies and research councils. The duration of the projects vary enormously and range from three-year research fellowships to short term consulting projects.

    2. Training: We carry out various training related to halal and any Islamisation of business knowledge and may involve various parties. These include: Training for Halal retailing, Halal Warehouse, Halal Transportation, Halal Supply Chain, Islamic Finance etc.

    3. Postgraduate research: The supervision of postgraduate researchers is an integral part of the Institute’s activities. The Student may register as a Master’s or Doctoral student and may conduct his/her research either full or part- time. The reputation of the Institute has been such that it has drawn students from all over the world and has established itself as a referral centre for studies in Halal, and Muslim Friendly and any form of Islamisation of business knowledge.

    4. Public presentations: One of the objectives of the Institute is to disseminate its research findings to a wide and diverse range of audiences. To that end, the research work undertaken has been reported in many academic conferences and management seminars.
