BA277 - Bachelor of Business in Transport (Honours)

Economic and industrial growth in Malaysia has led to an increase in demand and high growth in the transport infrastructure, especially in areas of port development, airports as well as the road and rail transport system. To fulfil this demand, a three-year programme known as Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) Transport was first offered by the Faculty of Business Management, UiTM, in year 2000.   The curriculum covers areas such as Economics, Management, Marketing, Law, Logistics and Transport Planning.  Issues in Transport, the role of the government and transport user bodies are also emphasized. In the final semester, students will undergo industrial training and will produce an academic paper.

The opportunities at the middle management level cover areas of logistics, marketing of the transport industry, shipping and maritime, aviation, land transport (road and rail), manufacturing and production line, enforcement agencies and research and consultancy business.
